Nestled in the heart of the Passy village among traditional as
well as contemporary fashion boutiques, and a step
away from the historic Eiffel Tower, lies the soothing interiors and
relaxing comforts of Hotel Gavarni. From its
exquisitely decorated lobby and amenities to its intricately furnished
rooms and suites, the Hotel Gavarni combines
elements of the old country and the luxuries and conveniences of modern
living.
Built in 1907, Hotel Gavarni originally had 30 rooms. It was completely
refurbished in 2001, whilst keeping its original
red brick facade, stylish iron cast window bars and entrance overhung by
a marquise reminiscent of the Art Nouveau
style. It now has 21 rooms with 4 luxury suites, each one distinct in
character, atmosphere, and design, and all
suited to meet world-class standards, always abreast of guests’ needs and
wants as well as the latest technological
advancements. From flowery carpets, country-inspired drapes and fresh
flowers to Wi-Fi DSL, flat screen LCD TV and
satellite channels, each room is equipped to please and entertain, for a
truly enjoyable and unforgettable stay.
It is managed and staffed by seasoned hotel and service industry
specialists, most of whom are Filipinos who have
moved to Paris. These men and women have seamlessly fused the
sophistication and opulence of Paris’ customs
and traditions with the undeniably characteristic Filipino affection and
warmth. And it is because of this unique blend
that Hotel Gavarni manages to create a truly one-ofa-kind home away from
home for Filipinos in Paris.
Hotel manager, Xavier Moraga – married to a Filipina – stands proud of
his achievements and future plans in Hotel
Gavarni.
